ELECTION DAY - NOVEMBER 2, 2010
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Are you frustrated with the politicians and their anti-gun antics? Do you want to change how business is done at the state capitol? This November 2nd we have the opportunity and duty to exercise our sacred right to decide who will be elected to statewide offices, legislative seats, and local sheriff seats.
This year there are well over 100 contested seats that will be decided on Election Day. The individuals holding these seats will have the power to influence your firearms and hunting rights, as well as the issuance of concealed weapons permits. With so many contested seats, we have a real opportunity to seize seats back from those politicians who consistently oppose the firearms and hunting rights of law-abiding Californians.
Moving the anti-gun politicians out and pro-gun politicians in CAN make a significant difference in the outcome of legislation that is lobbied on your behalf by the CRPA! Typically, anti-firearms rights legislation in California is approved by a slim majority vote in each house. Changing the outcome in just a few elected seats could make the critical difference in whether anti-firearms legislation can receive enough votes to pass. And more importantly it will help us to turn the corner toward passage of pro-firearms legislation.
It would also be a real attention getter for politicians who normally vote against the rights of law-abiding individuals as they know they could be the CRPA’s next target in subsequent elections! It’s no secret there are politicians who think of themselves first before all else . . . and California’s anti-gun politicians are no exception.
Remember, firearms owners and sportsmen cannot make a difference UNLESS they become active in the elections process, helping in campaigns, going to the polls to vote, getting other pro-gunners to vote, and supporting the California Rifle and Pistol Association lobby and political agenda.
Click here to see the CRPA’s Candidate Endorsement List for your consideration in deciding how to vote in this important election. CRPA resources were used to focus specifically on state and local races that impact your firearms and hunting rights in California. Every dollar you contribute to the CRPA stays here in California to fight for your right to keep and bear arms.
Please VOTE. The future of our firearms and hunting rights is at stake like never before!!!!
THANK YOU for your continuing support of the California Rifle and Pistol Association.
